Dr Alessandro Turbil is SNSF SPF at RoSe (UZH) with a project on the survival of the medieval lyric heritage in the French Renaissance. Previously, he held a LeStudium Integration Fellowship at the Centre d'Études Supérieures de la Renaissance in Tours, a DAAD Fellowship at the Freie Universität Berlin, a postdoctoral fellowship at the University of Turin, and worked as a temporary lecturer at the University of Tours, where he taught in the Departments of Italian Studies, French Studies and Comparative Literature. In 2018, he received a joint Ph.D. in Literature and Linguistics from the Universities of Turin and Sorbonne Nouvelle Paris 3. His research interests include medieval and Renaissance French literature, material bibliography, and early modern editorial and publishing practices.
